Pelvic x-ray....

Has anybody else had a pelvic x-ray? I went in for mine yesterday and my doctor was checking to make sure my tubes were not blocked. They flushed dye in my uterus and made me tilt my hips from side to side while taking x-rays so that the dye would flow up the tubes to make sure they were not blocked.  This hurt a lot more than I thought it would! The nurse told me I may feel some cramping because when they filled my uterus with the dye it would stretch my uterus. But this was more than cramping!  And I have a HIGH pain tolerance...  This morning I woke up and my lower abdomen was actually swollen!!  I would just like to hear other women's experience with getting this type of public x-ray.  The swollen belly has gone down some since this morning, but is that normal???
