Just curious. I know there’s always a possibility of getting pregnant if you’re having sex, just wondering. My period is going on 5 days late and I take the pill religiously, really hoping it’s just late, it’s happened before.

Nope. I was on the pill for 15 years and never once got pregnant and my hubby and I are SUPER fertile! If you take it as directed, it is literally 99.9% effective.

I was on the pill and using condoms when I was 18 and got pregnant. Birth control can fail. You might want to take a test. However, the more you stress about it, the later your period could be. Anything from stress or changing your routine or a hundred other things could make your period late or missed.

My mum got pregnant on the pill and so did my friend, I know it’s rare but I’d test to make sure :)

my first was a birth control pill baby and the condom snapped and second was a switching to birth control pill from the patch baby. So yes it happens but I was also on antibiotics and taking St John's wart with my first. so it really was my fault 😂.
