First Trimester Screening

Hey everyone! I had my first trimester screening done last Monday, May 7. The ultrasound looked perfect and the doctor said I should have my blood results within a few days.... I haven’t heard anything yet and I’m starting to fret.

Does anyone know specifically what they’re testing or looking for with the blood part of the test?

How long did it take you to get your blood results back?

Also, did they tell you your gender with the blood results? I’ve heard some people say they found out the gender but my doctor didn’t mention this to me so I’m assuming they didn’t check...
