So I had my Marina fitted in January and I’m gonna be honest. Never felt a pain like it and was on gas and air then threw up out the window on the way home. Other than the initial bleeding as they popped my cherry on insertion I literally haven’t had a proper period since neither have I had a cramp. I have regular spotting or brown discharge but I am so impressed with my iud when I had it the gynaecologists where trying to dissuade me from having it as i was a 15 year old virgin. Still am but just 16. But honestly other than the initial pain it’s one of the best decisions of my life. Just wanted to share and know if anyone else had the same immediate results I did. Bx
