Abnormal screening

Hey everyone I had a screening done that came back abnormal for Down's syndrome. They gave me a 1:40 chance and I have to go back for more blood work. Is this happening to anyone, or has this happened in previous pregnancies? They told me the results take a week which it just so happens my birthday is this weekend. I'm just so upset and can't stop crying.
