36 weeks she checked because I had been having so many cramps and contractions randomly - just wanted to see if they were doing anything to dilate me.

my doctor did not check mine until 38 weeks.

Yes, with my second but I was having false labor contractions and they wanted to make sure I was not dilating.

My Dr started at 34 weeks checking. however, I'm not allowed to go into labor or be far along in labor due to my medical (trying to stay away from emergency situations) so I dunno if that's why they do it or not. (I've had it done at this time every pregnancy- this will be my 3rd csection)
