Water Birth - Yay or Nay

My hospital is offering an opportunity to try a water birth. I have to decide on it ahead of time to fill out consent forms (though they obviously allow you to back out any time during labor). The caveat is that I need to get a Hep C test in two weeks to be approved for it and this test will not be covered by insurance. I kind of want to be sure this is something I am interested before I shell out extra money for that test (We already have to pay $6200 for the hospital stay - that is with insurance!). What are your opinions/experiences with water births?
