Boyfriends taking me on a get away but I don’t want my period

So my boyfriend and I have been a little rough lately just cause we’ve both been busy and distracted by personal stuff so we decided we’re going away for Memorial Day weekend but that weekend is supposed to be during my week off. Would it be alright to just start my next pack without taking the week off? Would it cause spotting?
