Can I see your July baby's big boy/girl bed?

What do you use for blankets? Pillows? Do you tuck large blankets in? My daughter has both climbed out of her crib and learned to open doors on the same day (happy mother's day to me!) What have you done to baby proof your little ones to be in their room alone? We ordered her big girl bed today and it'll be here in a few days! We're excited!

Instead of a bed rail, we rolled up some large blankets long ways, put them under the fitted mattress sheet and used them as bumpers. I like it cuz it’s free and soft. I bet a pool noodle might work too. 
At first, it was just her mattress (with bumpers) on the floor and once we felt she had that mastered, we put it up on the bed frame. We then put her old crib mattress under her bed, so if she fell out of bed she landed on something soft. Plus it’s doubles as a step for your toddler to climb up into bed. But they learn quick! It doesn’t take too many falls out of bed for them to stay in. 
As far as her room, we have an extra tall metal babygate at her door. So she can’t escape but we can leave her real door open. And we put her books up on shelves. So there’s not  much for her to do in there or get distracted with  (all her toys are in living room)

This is my sons room:) it’s a full size bed but I left it on the ground until he’s more comfortable and won’t fall off too far. All the decorative pillows go on the floor at night!

We put up the side rails on both sides. I tuck the quilt in and she sleeps on top of it with her blankie. I feel like it’s safer and I don’t have to make the bed every morning!...  Just put her blankie in a tote and her room is clean!

We have a dresser and some stuffed animals in his room and That’s it. We close his door at night so he can’t leave (not all the way just so It looks like it’s closed) but we can still hear him on the monitor. And as for blankets and sheets. He either uses a fleece blanket or a muslin blanket anything heavier and he freaks out a bit. Good luck!!! Don’t forget a bed rail, we had to wait a couple weeks (we ordered it) and little man fell out of bed a couple times. 😢
