34 weeks 2 days

Saturday May 5th started off normal lol.

I went to my sons cousins birthday party came home everything was fine. Then I got a really bad headache so I checked my blood pressure, 170/100. I have preeclampsia so I went straight into triage didn’t bother calling. They hooked me up and gave me two doses of medicine to try and lower my bp and it didn’t work. Doctor came in and said because of it we had to induce. She checked my cervix and I was already 3 cm! I was moved to labor and delivery around midnight and we started the pitocin. I stayed at 3 cm until like 8 am and I swore I would have to get a csection cause I just was not dilating. We then tried the peanut ball and I went to 5 cm! Around 2 o clock we tried the peanut ball again. 30 minutes later my nurse comes in and asks if I want to switch positions. My epidural was starting to wear off so I was aggravated and said yes but take the ball away. I went to turn on my side and I felt so much pressure like I had to push. Nurse checked me and I was 8 cm but I couldn’t hold it and I had to push right at that moment! My baby girl came out in one big push no one was ready for it 😂 2:34 pm may 6 my baby girl was born at 3 pounds 14.4 ounces & 16 inches!
