Did u pack ur own hospital gown for ur labour and delivery

Many people do, but I won’t. Labor and delivery is messy and bloody. I’m not going to spend money on a gown just to get it ruined. I will mess up the hospital gown thanks.

I agree with Sara. I will be using the provided hospital gown for delivery but I am going to purchase two comfy pajama/post delivery gown/robe set to lounge around in for our 48 hour stay after delivery just so I’m a little more comfortable.

I did but didn’t use it... if I did use it I probably would’ve thrown it away lol. Soooo messy!

No. Unless you are planning on undergoing an induction (especially before your EDD) there isn't much time to actually wear a gown and you probably won't want to anyway. I was still in my shorts and t-shirt at the hospital for the first hour, then got naked so I could go in the hot shower (back labor really sucks), and went from shower to pushing. No gown needed. I liked the nursing gowns they had in the mama baby unit as each side came down individually and they were quite large.

Nope! I think its a waste. It'll just get all gross during the birth. I am bringing a lightweight robe to wear over it when I'm walking during labor and during visits though.

I was going to but decided not to get one for the same reason as everyone else. I’ll let the hospital gown get gross
