Fighting

So me and my boy have been dating for about 6 months and he lives an hour and a half away. We see eachother on the weekends but sometimes fight during the weekdays. Last night we fought because I was tired and it just turned into a bigger fight and then he got mad too. he never lets me go to bed mad but he did lastnight. I texted him this morning and said sorry but he seems different. What do I do? Do I give him space? Help.
