Vegan pregnancy?

Hey guys! Just found out today that I’m pregnant with my first. I’m 30 and have never used contraception in my life, thought I wasn’t fertile to be honest. I’ve been with my love 4 years, 6 months ago I went vegan and I’ve never felt healthier and out of nowhere here I am! We weren’t trying but we weren’t not. I was just wondering if there are any other vegan mamas out there that have advice about staying vegan throughout pregnancy?

I’m vegan and pregnant and have had no problems so far. My doctor is supportive. I take rainbow light vegan prenatals, and I found a vegan DHA supplement. As always, make sure to get a well rounded diet. I would suggest posting this in the vegan lifestyle page to get additional feedback from vegan moms :)

I’m only vegetarian, not vegan, 26 weeks pregnant. Even though I’m vegetarian, I try to limit cheese and eggs and haven’t had cow’s milk in years. I’ve been very careful to get enough protein and eat a balanced diet but have had no issues. I know it’s not quite the same but still a restricted diet...
