VBAC at age above 35yo?

Hi girls.. appreciate if I can get an input from y’all. any of you had an experience for VBAC at age above 35? Did it went successfully? They say it’s too risky.. I had my 1st c-section last March.. when the best time to ttc? Thank you

There isn't much for VBAC advice on this app, I've found, and a lot of what is given is biased or unsupportive. Check out the facebook group VBAC success stories. It's full of supportive women who ask and answer questions and share their experiences. As far as I know, age is not a risk factor in having a VBAC. They recommend waiting 18 months between your c section and the start of a new pregnancy for the best chance, but it's completely okay to do with a closer gap, as long as you have a VBAC friendly doctor/midwife on your side. 😊
