What if I wake up 2 hours before my alarm? Should I temp then?

I’m notorious for waking up, or being woken up, about 2-3 hours before my alarm for the day. I go back to sleep usually, but it’s not deep sleep. I always read to have at least 3 solid hours of sleep before you temp. I did a scientific study this morning and temped when I woke up and temped when my alarm went off, and my temp was higher. So should I temp when I wake up randomly, or temp at my alarm time?
