When do doctors usually review lab results?

I am just trying to figure out when to call. I know they have the results but I am waiting for the doctor to look over them

Answer

There's no set time. Usually the nurses review them and if there are abnormal results they consult with the Dr for orders. The Dr could be out delivering babies or in a c-section surgery for long periods of time. I'd call them and they can pull up your results and review them if they haven't with you on the phone!
