what do you wish you had known?

I am going through my first miscarriage (first pregnancy), at 7 weeks.
today I passed the gestational sac. now, I knew that I would pass tissue, but I guess I just didn't realize I would pass the intact sac like that. I understand and it makes sense, but it would've been nice if someone had forewarned me.
is there anything you wish your doctor would've told you, that you found out on your own?

They didn’t really prepare me for it either. I miscarried on may 5th. I knew it had passed in its own. I just looked and saw it...my bleeding stopped by the 7th. And we have been trying again for our rainbow baby. Don’t get discouraged! I had a good cry when this all happened but then knew in my heart people try right away after and are successful so I’m trying to stay positive

The doctors told me nothing of what to expect during mine. It was horrible. I felt the sac come out when I went to the bathroom so I didn’t actually see it. I didn’t know how long the bleeding was going to last or what to look out for in case something was wrong. I googled everything.. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

How much pain and blood there was. If I had known I would have just sat in the toilet for four hours. I’m so sorry this is happening 😢

I’m the same as you! No one prepared me for that.. and I have the worst guilt for flushing my baby down the toilet. Had I of been prepared, I would have done things differently
