Best makeup for dry skin?

Question

Drugstore brands preferably. I attached a no makeup picture and a pic with makeup.. I think my skin is dry. It gets flaky and itchy and my foundation will separate on my cheeks and nose. Also have redness

I currently use this foundation and I love it but I want something else. I tried the superstay and the color just didn't match and fit me doesn't have good coverage

As another commenter said, avoid matte foundations. Matte foundations will suck the moisture out of your skin and increase the dryness. 
Use a light exfoliator and moisturizer daily before doing your makeup (I can share the ones I use if you’re interested). 
When you’re shopping for foundations, go for dewy. If you don’t like for your face to be shiny, you could try using a lightweight setting powder, though that may dry your skin out, too. 
My skin gets super dry periodically, so while I’m going through dry patches, I avoid matte foundations and setting powders of all types. My skin does tend to look shiny, but I prefer that over the horrible cakey-ness and separation of matte foundations.

I have dry skin and red skin and I honestly try to stay away from foundation all together and focus a lot on skin care to improve my skin instead. My skin has been much better since. On days I still want to wear something I go with a bb-cream. On special occasions I do use foundation and my absolute favourite is Max Factor Skin Luminizer. It covers redness great and doesn't feel heavy at all!

Try to stay away from Matte foundation if you have dry skin cause it shows it more, a dewy finish would be best!
