1st generation

I’ve been going to a community college but just recently I got accepted to Texas State. My mom cried of joy. I know I’m making her proud. I’m first generation to graduate high school, go to college and go to a university. I’m so excited for this next chapter in my life. I’ll be working 2 jobs this summer to help pay for tuition since I don’t qualify for fafsa but it’ll be worth it.
