2 days to try and have a baby

Hi girls

I need a question answered if anyone can help you guys seem to be very cluded up!

My boyfriend works away In the week, I get to see him at weekend( and maybe 1 night in the week if I drive up to him)

What happens if my ovulation day is in the week and I'm not with him? Does that mean I miss that month of trying and have to hope it falls on a weekend next month? Very confused about the ovulation days and when you can get pregnant, unfortunately for us we have been trying for a few years but only now are we ( I) using ovulation test daily to work these out

Any advise if anyone is in the same boat as us!
