Leaking?

Hey ladies I'm a first time mommy to be . 26W+4 . I woke up this morning to a small gush of leaking tmi? Idk I'm just scared it might be antibiotic fluid it had no Oder it was just clear . I usually sleep naked . Anywho I'm worried and don't know if I should just go to the hospital or not . I haven't had any leakage since this morning . Should I be worried!?

Go to the hospital. They can do a simple test to see if your water broke. I am  a L&D; nurse. Better safe than sorry. If your water did brake you risk infection and preterm labor. It could just be urine too sometimes baby moves a certain way and hit your bladder to cause leaking. The only for sure way to know is to get the test. Its seconds to do and the results are ready within 30mins.

Update; I ended up going to the hospital to get checked out & they did a whole bunch of tests was there for 5 hours . Eventually they came in and said all the tests came back negative so that was a good thing . Nurse said Maybe its just extra discharge vagina get when pregnant or could have been excessive discharge when being sexually active . But I go in and see my ob next week so I'll be sure to double check with her . Thanks again!💗

definitely go to l&d; and get checked! could be urine, but could be amniotic fluid!

I had this happen to me last pregnancy. They told me to put a pad on and of it got wet to go in and bring the pad

I would go to the hospital just to be safe! I had bleeding a few days ago at 27 and glad I got checked out had to stay over night but thankfully bleeding stopped , put your mind at ease and get going , there’s test they can do to see what was leaking xxx😘take care !!!
