Honestly, I usually flush them if I’m in public. I know I shouldn’t, but I’m not touching the nasty trash can in a public bathroom to throw it out. I throw them away at home or in someone else’s home.

My friend used to (up until she was 21 and I had this talk with her...) she goes “I was told they disintegrate in the toilet” I was like HUNNY...... you are dropping a giant cotton ball (it expands in liquid) into the toilet to clog your septic system. If it disintegrates in liquid like you said it does, it would be pointless to use it to catch your period blood (A LIQUID)

My mom told me to not flush them, but if I drop it when I change it then oh well and just flush it.
