Book was better, but I haven't watched season 2 yet..but I mean I read the book when it first came out before it was "cool" soooo...it was an OK adaptation, but it could have been better.

The book was good. Season 1 was okay. Season 2 is really good so far but I’m only halfway through. I heard the last episode is really graphic

Honestly I just didn’t think it was realistic. The main character Clay was just a whiny bitch and Hannah seemed to overreact about certain things. I know I’m probably going to get hate for this but I think having a show that’s supposed to get the word out about depression and suicide shouldn’t be stereotypical. All of the characters seemed so unrealistic. Literally the only think I enjoyed was when they played fascination street by the cure. Everything else was complete shit.
