Coming home outfit?!

Question

31st of August is my due date and I live in Australia which means it will be the end of winter, start of spring and where I am in Victoria it will still be fairly cold here and I'm stuck on what to have as my coming home outfit for my little girl. 
It would be awesome to see some pictures of what you are going do or have done or even online stores that are both cute and practical to use! 
I'm fairly clueless and would even like to know what in general she will need to wear to come home in!

I’m in NSW Sydney, where abouts in Victoria are you? My baby boy is due 22nd Aug and was thinking of pants, undershirt, long sleeve, with maybe a jumper and beanie- depending on how cold it is might ditch the last two if not needed.

I brought my son home in a sleeper, a thick blanket and another blanket to block the wind over top of the car seat.

I always pack two coming home outfits for my babies because the weather can change and different due to air conditioning and heating. I always pack a white short sleeve onesie (body suit that snaps between the legs) for layering if needed. Always long pants because even in the heat, babies are used to living in your body temperature and they have a harder time regulating their own body temp. 98F is what their used to. So an outfit with long pants that comes with a short sleeve and long sleeve shirt. WhT short I put on them depends on the weather. Also I pack a thicker blanket and a thin one, depending on the weather. Idk what Australia’s end of winter/beginning of spring is like, but my end of winter beginning of spring babies always came home in a cotton, long sleeve, footed sleeper. One wore her winter hat and thicker cotton zip-up sweater over her sleeper with a blanket on top. It was cold that day. My other wore the same type of sleeper with just a blanket over her. 
My advice would be to choose a couple different outfits and choose the day you bring baby home what to wear. Over pack!

I dont have advice but I find it very intresting how in August its the end of winter where you are and where i am (California USA) its summer so its gonna be so hot! Thats so interesting 😀
