HSG procedure question

Hi! I had an HSG done back in January and almost a year of having some issues with TTC. Everything came back great which we were super happy about! My OB even mentioned that after having this done my chances of conceiving went up because my tubes had been flushed out. I did some research and it seems that a majority of women who have that done get pregnant within a few months. It's been 6 months for me now and still nothing! Has anyone had a positive outcome to having an HSG done? It was very painful and I actually fainted during so I was hoping for a very happy ending!
