Tips for stopping a dress riding up?

Hi guys,

I bought this super cute dress for my 18th birthday but I’m having an issue with it; it’s bodycon and literally with every step I take it rises further and further up my leg! Plus it has a slit in it which is very unfortunately positioned if you get my gist....

has anyone got any tips on how I get it to stay down especially considering I’ll want to be dancing all night?? I tried short underneath to see if it would stop some of the friction but no luck :(
