Halo Bassinest or Crib in room

FTM. I’m debating on registering for the halo bassinest or just putting our LO’s crib in our room. I’m planning on keeping her in our room for about a year. I know they can only use the Halo for a few months. Is it that much of a life saver during all those early sleepless/feeding nights? Or will the crib in our room be close enough.

(Also, don’t plan on using a rock n’ play or dock a tot since I can’t order them with organic mattresses.)
