Prenatal while ttc?

Has anyone taken prenatal vitamins while ttc? If so what kind? Or should a regular multivitamin be good?

Yes definitely a good idea to take pre natal while trying. I take Natures made with DHA. My doctor told me the brand doesn’t matter just make sure you get one with DHA.

I take Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal by Garden of Life. Even though it's priced higher than most, it's the best one that works for me given I have a synthetic folic acid sensitivity and tried other prenatals/multivitamins that just made me feel sick. To save a few bucks while TTC, I'll take 1-2 a day instead of the recommended dose and focus on having a nutrient dense meal & a fish oil supplement for DHA. I think you can sub a prenatal for a multivitamin you like. Best thing is to talk to your doctor and check for any deficiencies and what you/baby needs before you get a BFP. Hope that helps. 😄
