My coworker asked me to loan her some money until we got paid. That was three days ago. We’ve worked together for 2 of the three days and she’s had a different excuse every day as to why she couldn’t get the money out of the bank. Tomorrow she’s off so I offered to meet her somewhere so she wouldn’t have to come into work and even then she just kind of shrugged off the question. Her excuses were “she’s had a migraine” or “she was late to work” or “she was busy with her son” like ?? I need this money, not just to spend on whatever but money is tight for me. How do I bring it up again without sounding pushy and making it weird at work?
