When did y’all have sex after your c-section?

6 weeks. And it was terribly uncomfortable for me. Worse than my first time 😑

Was told at my two week post op that I’m not allowed so my husband and I just stare at each other. I’m losing my mind but obviously we want my body to heal — so I’m not going off the fact that I feel fine. Gonna impatiently wait for Dr’s blessing.

I think it was about 4 months for us. I was sore, and my bleeding didn’t stop until about the 6 week pp appointment. At that point, I decided to get an IUD and I had bleeding/spotting from it for about another 6 weeks. We wanted to make sure that birth control plan was fully in place and effective before we had sex again. Plus I was EXHAUSTED and had zero interest in sex. My husband respected that and never pushed me for something I wasn’t ready for.

As soon as my bleeding stopped so at 3 weeks and then the bleeding started again but we didn’t waste any time  lol. As much as I thought we weren’t going to want to have sex I was so wrong lol. Obviously we didn’t get all rough and crazy since I didn’t want to end up having to go back to the hospital for the glue coming off or anything. I think it depends on how you feel and if you feel too sore it may not be the best because you may feel miserable after.

about 7 weeks... we had to go slow, and  use lube, but it was really good and keeps getting better 😉
