Who should be in the delivery room??
So I am 35+3 weeks with my first baby, this though is not my s/o first child. So time is quickly approaching and we were going over the birth plan and I mentioned that I wanted my mother to be in the room and he got offended. i told him it was for support and because it's my first child and I want my fucking mom in the room!! So he went on to say he is my support and I'm like it's two totally different kinds of support like the support of a mother and the support of a boyfriend during the labor process I feel is just different. So a few days later he asked my dad who was in the room when I was born and he said just him, he didn't allow anyone in there... and I'm like you are asking the same person who told my mom to have her contractions quietly because the super bowl was on and he could hear!! I just feel like he needs to get over himself I mean I understand how he feels this is something very intense and he doesn't want to share the moment but I feel like I need mom in there and I just want for him to understand that. So he said she could be in there while I'm laboring but when it's time to push she h had to leave... any suggestions ladies? males? who was in there when you had your first???
