I had a miscarriage March 23rd. I began spotting on April 19 (normal for me to spot a couple days before period) and I got my period on April 21st l. it was a completely normal period and lasted 5 days. I had normal symptoms of tender breasts and cramps. I got a positive ovulation test on May 9 (cycle day 19—i normally ovulate in cycle day 14 or 15) my cycles are usually 28 or 29 days. My doctor wanted to do a progesterone blood test on cycle day 22 because she suspects a luteal phase defect.

I started very light bleeding on Saturday, cycle day 28. It was light, but heavier than my normal spotting before period. Initially I thought it was my period, but now I’m not sure. I had zero cramping and breasts are not even slightly tender.

My doctor actually called me last night to go over my lab results, low progesterone as expected, but maybe low because of testing only 3 days after ovulation. She was surprised with my late ovulation to hear i was bleeding already. She asked me multiple times if i was sure i wasn’t pregnant. I took a test after getting off the phone with her and it was negative.

So 2 days of light bleeding, but more than what I’d say is spotting for me. Today absolutely nothing going on... no breast tenderness, cramps, or blood of any sort. Now I’m starting to wonder is it’s maybe implantation bleeding.

My doctor didn’t seem to think it was irregular from the miscarriage because of having a completely normal period right after.

Anyone experience anything similar? What was your outcome? I’m going to wait to test again until Thursday before i leave on vacation unless if a full blown period shows up.
