First round of clomid

I was diagnosed with pcos last month and began taking clomid and metformin. I had my blood tests done today and my progesterone was at an 8 said they prefer it to be a 10 or more. had a positive opk. but they said it wasn't for sure that I ovulated. Could I have still ovulated? VERY CONFUSED AT THIS POINT! I had a misscarriage in November of 2016 and have been trying ever since. just looking for some advice and good vibes. Thanks
