wedding band

my husband refuses to wear his wedding band. he's an electrician so i got him a silicone band but he complains that it's too uncomfortable and he doesn't like the way a ring looks on his finger. we've even gone up a size and still no. now i have no reason to believe that he's cheating on me (who knows though anything is possible). any ideas on how to go about this? we've been married for almost a year and he did wear it at first. i'm obviously a little uncomfortable with the fact that he doesn't wear it but i don't know what to do! it's obviously not the end of the world. any other ladies hubbys like this? what did you do?
