Glow app, symptoms, IUI’s

Keri

Hi All,

I am a 37 year old who just went through the insemination process on May 12th (Mother’s Day 😊) it was my first insemination. I have never been pregnant before nor have I tried. I don’t believe I have fertility problems but I’m not sure. I had the insemination process because my girlfriend and I wanted to start a family and this was the best option. My periods are usually between 21-26 days apart. I’ve always been like that ever since I’ve had my period. I don’t think this app is great for me only because It always predicts my period and ovulation wrong and whenever I log my info it doesn’t really apply to me because I don’t get my period every 28-30 days nor do I have sexual intercourse w a man. So when I log no sex it basically says something else is wrong instead of possible pregnancy. After the insemination that night I had cramps, bloating, it then turned into back ache and here and there waves of nausea. I’m now going on day 9 post insemination and the bloating and cramps subsided a bit but I still have cramps that are mild. I ovulated last week may 13-14. I usually ovulate a week before my period starts. The past 3 months from period start to start was 22 days, 26 days, 26 days. I’m now on day 29 which makes me think I have missed my period. I’ve never gone that long in between. I’m not sure if the cramps are implantation cramps or not. But when I ovulate my cramps usually last 2 days and I have had cramps since May 12th. I am very irritable which I’m usually not, I’m more emotional and I’ve been having very vivid dreams! I’m not sure if this is all a good sign or not. I’m praying they are. My body has felt different ever since the insemination. I have had no spotting. My period should have started this past weekend based on my previous periods. This process is an emotional rollercoaster!
