Anyone live in Houston, Tx and own a home they brought with a bank loan? If so what area and what did you get approved for?

Answer

What you get approved for is based on credit history, current debts, and income. We live closer to the metroplex and are waiting 3 years to buy so we can 1) save and 2) pay down/off current debts so we can get approved for the most we can afford to still live comfortably and not be house rich but cash poor.
