Anyone in Landscaping? Am I getting ripped off or is this a good price?

I’m getting a complete tear out of all old overgrown landscaping in front of the house, French drains installed for irrigation, mulch, an island on the front lawn and all drought resistant plants and trees that are guaranteed for 1 year. I have no clue about any of this, but they quoted me 4K. I’m in Florida. Does this seem like a fair price?

Hey, I’m in Florida too! If that price includes all the plants and supplies, yeah that sounds like a fair price to me. Still couldn’t hurt to get a second or third quote, though. What area are you in, if you don’t mind me asking? My husband and I need to redo our backyard but it’s a massive job and companies keep saying no :/

I used to live in Miami. Sounds fair! You could always ask another company and see what they quote.

im not from flordia so i couldnt say for sure. im from ohio, and it really depends on how large and fancy of stuff you want. depending on the color, quantity, size, etc it really drastically changes price of stuff. if you have a large area i wouldnt say its its a rip off. if its a very small area then i would question it.
