Emotion and sex?

I have a hard time sharing my feeling with my bf and he knows it he has a hard time given both our past. I decided to open up as much as I could let myself. I started to cry and he wanted to see it. But he kissed me with more..passion and we had sex but it was different I don’t know how to describe it anyone else experience something similar.?

Letting someone into your emotional state is a really powerful thing, both for the person sharing and the person receiving. My SO and I always have great sex that is deeply passionate after particularly emotional evenings together.
