How much milk does your LO drink?

Curious how much milk everyone’s little ones are drinking in a day now (if you’ve made that tradition off formula). My son basically just replaced his formula bottles with milk. So he’s drinking about 15-20 oz of milk a day. Not sure if that’s too much or if that seems about right.

I have been having daycare mix 1/2 breastmilk 1/2 whole milk. So as of now maybe 4oz of whole milk a day. My LO does not take just whole milk easily at home. I've tried bottles, warm, different sippy cups and she refuses. I only nurse her 1-2x a day now and I'm about dry! I'm hoping its a taste thing and eventually she will take it better. I'm not really worried if it never happends. She takes water just fine and loooves yogurt and cheese!

We haven’t had our 1-year appointment yet but I read online that a 1-year old should have 16 ounces a day! They can have up to 20 ounces as long as they are eating enough at meal times. They said milk isn’t considered a meal in itself anymore so to only offer it at mealtimes and snack times!

My little one is still breastfeeding so I haven’t introduced any other milk yet.

My pediatrician said give 12-16oz a day. I believe they recommend limiting milk to 16oz maximum because too much calcium can interfere with iron absorption. After 12 months of struggling with formula, my daughter seems to like milk! So I had to drop her from 4 to 3 bottles per day. She gets around 5-6oz when she wakes up then  I make a 5oz sippy cup that I give her with lunch and throughout the afternoon, then another with dinner that she finishes before bed.

My son drink about 2 - 3 8 oz. bottles a day. I for the most part have transitioned him to milk but since I have 1 can of formula left I'll do half and half sometimes. 😁
