I went to the er Monday night with what I knew was a kidney stone passing. they did a ct scan, confirmed there was a stone, prescribed a couple of days worth of pain meds and anti nausea meds and told me to follow up with my doctor. does anyone know if the er will automatically forward my ct and lab work results to my family doctor or if they have to be requested? I know they asked me who my family doctor was during intake I'm just not sure if the er and doctor's offices can be linked up that way.
