Is two weeks too early to rely on the pill?

I’ve been sexually active 2 weeks after I started my pill and my period is late by 2 days. Could it be the pill just messing with my cycle or should I be worried? I have let him cum in me a couple of times since. Maybe I’m just worrying too much.

Wait at bare minimum a month. Two weeks is just getting introduced into your system. I got pregnant on the pill and shot. I never had sex close to my end or start pack/shot time. But I would be worried if I were you.

It takes a full 7 days for birth control to be effective (unless u started it while on ur period, then it’s effective immediately). So, as long as waited until then & are taking the pills properly/consistently, then ur 99% covered. It can take 3-6 months for ur body to adjust to being on (or off) birth control, so things can be thrown off during that time. Plus, one of the ways hormonal birth control works is by thinning the uterine lining, which can sometimes result in little to no bleeding.
