Peppermint oil for migraines? Opinions

So I have been suffering with horrible migraines and tension headaches. Tylenol doesn’t cut it but peppermint oil on my temples seems to really help. I have read mixed reviews some say safe others say no? Anyone tried it?

Diluted essential oil is usually safe; it’s when you put undiluted oil directly on your skin that it can be dangerous. Most people cut the oil with coconut oil or something similar.

Ice packs directly on the spot that hurts the worst.....I kept them frozen at work and home. Helped sooo much

It is totally safe. I use essential oils like no one's business. Lavender on the soles of my feet and peppermint on my temples/forehead/backs of ears has helped me tons with headaches.

you don't need any medicine or pills or oil or none of that I was taking up to 4 Tylenol a day for like a whole trimester just wasting my life away on pills and they're not cheap just to find out all you need to do is drink some water and if you don't like water and some cucumber and some strawberries and some lemon make some homemade bottles on the goal make like 10 water bottles with some fruit and it if you don't like water but drink water like a gallon or more a day at least and Watch What Happens good luck

It really depends on the brand. The brand I use is safe to ingest and apply topically! Peppermint oil has been my go to oil ever since I was introduced to essential oils. Look into the brand you use is it (CPTG) Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade? May I ask which brand are you using?
