How to use tinder??

I’m newly single after being in my one and only relationship for 2.5 years. I’m 21 and I’m really ready to date more and experience more just cuz I feel like I’m fairly inexperienced just because I’ve only been with one person. I’m wanting to use tinder but I’m not sure if it’s safe or a good idea. Does anyone have any tinder tips?

Tinder is a good idea! like the person said below meet people in public places, coffee or lunch dates are a good kind of first date cause it's super causal, less pressure. It's fairly safe I never had any problems using it however I only ended up meeting up with one person form the app and now we've been dating for over 2 years. You don't even have to meet up with the people you meet on the app (unless you're really interested in them) you can honestly just use it to brush up on your flirting skills too if that's something you'd want to do

I met my current boyfriend of over a year on tinder! It’s a great tool just be careful. I only met like 3 people off it the entire time and before I did I always talked to them for a little so I felt like I knew them well... also always meet them in a public area and tell someone where you’ll be... other that that once you meet them just use your judgement to see how you feel about them... you’ll match with a lot of people but will probably only find yourself having good conversations with only a few so that helps narrow down people too... good luck!

Tinder gets a way bad wrap out there as just a sketchy hookup tool! Like everyone else is saying, be careful and meet in public places, always tell someone where you’re going, make sure you talk a bit before hand so they aren’t a complete and total stranger. I met my husband on tinder and it was the best thing I’ve ever done, we never would have met otherwise. I’ve also had a ton of fun before meeting him just going on dates and talking to new people. I love in a small town and it’s really hard to meet people you didn’t go to high school with
