Bleeding but hcg test getting darker?

Hi! So I had a vvfl at around 10 dpo, started having brown discharge and dark red bleeding with small clots. Bleeding is not as heavy as AF, no cramping noted so I kept on testing my hcg and I’m 12 dpo now and it just kept on getting darker than 2 days ago. I have not seen my doctor yet. Has anybody had this experience before?

Yes this happened to me. 
I don't want to discourage you because sometimes bleeding doesn't mean the worst.... 
In August of 2017 I had a positive pregnancy test and a little over a week later started bleeding (red) with little cramping. I took several hpt over the next few days that all got increasingly darker. When I saw my dr and had hcg blood tests done 2 days apart it showed my hcg was increasing but not doubling. I had infact started to miscarry but had retained tissue and my body was "confused". The retained tissue caused my hcg to increase very slightly making my tests appear darker. It took 5 weeks to finally pass the retained tissue and for my hcg to drop. 
Fast forward to December 2017. I got a positive pregnancy test on December 12 and on December 27 started spotting red. I was terrified i was miscarrying again. I was found to have a healthy baby growing but a subchronic hemorrhage causing the bleed. But baby was / is safe and is now of 27 weeks gestation 
All this to say there is no easy answer. I wish you all the best ❤
