My partner and i were both treated for chlamydia (he tested positive but we were both having symptoms). The doctor we went to gave us each a 2 day azithromycin treatment and said we "should be good to have sex after the medicine is done if we have no more symptoms" so we had sex on the 6th day of treatment (5 days after we started the pills). But now I'm reading everywhere that you need to wait 7 days. We both havent had any symptoms come back, so is it possible that we actually did get cured and are okay now?
