Medical school

I’m going to start my senior year in high school this following fall. Since 9th grade I had good grades A’s and B’s I do well but not exceedingly well. I don’t study. I’m that type of person to do home work at the last minute and procrastinate but still get it done and I don’t study because I don’t know how to study. I want to become a surgeon. Can I become a very good surgeon by doing well in university and in medical school if I did well in high school? I hope to finish my senior year strong and learn to study my senior year if not, start when I get into university.
