Is continuing a HS relationship worth it?

What age did you and your SO get together & how long have y’all been together ? 
- if you’ve been together since HS was it hard to maintain the relationship ? Meaning  since senior year going into college

Been with my boyfriend since 8th grade, 13 y/o.
We have a kid, our own house & doing the damn thing together at 19, I honestly believe we’ll get married one day after we’re finished with college . We were together all thru high school, it’s worth it. Can’t see myself with anyone else .

My husband and I have been together is we were 17. He went away to college and we made it work because we knew we wanted to be together. It wasn’t easy and it takes work, but if you want to be with someone you’ll make it work. We’ve been together for 12 years.

My boyfriend and I are both 19 going on 20 and are sophomores in college this fall. We go to the same college and went to the same high school. We got together when we were 16 and have been together ever since. Even though we've always gone to the same school, it's still been hard for us because of classes and work schedules. It's hectic! 
However, my best friend and her boyfriend began dating when she was a freshman and he was a junior in high school. She's also a sophomore in college now and he will be a senior this fall. Well, he goes to a college four hours away, but they're engaged now and making it work! They're only able to see each other for short periods of time, but they've been able to make it work!! 
Honestly if you love the person and want to be with them, you'll make it work. It'll be difficult, but if you both want to make it work, then it will.

My high school boyfriend and I didn’t make it because I moved and we both changed. My college boyfriend and I didn’t make it because he was abusive and I ended up leaving. My husband and I met as adults at work and made it... it’s ok if you don’t make it while you’re young. You’re young and growing and still learning. Once you’re in your mid-20s things change a lot.. your mindset. You’ve more or less grown up and reached adulthood. Things like relationships become more stable. 
To the relationships that do make it past high school, kudos.. it takes a lot of love and patience to stay with each other as you’re both going through your formative years.

Starting dating my husband when I was 14, he was 17. Being 2 and a half years older, he went to college and then got a great job after he became an electrician! We make things work and have since we were kids. We now are happily married and bought our house together last year (at ages 19 and 22). You get to experience so much together and it’s so rewarding. We just stuck together through the good, the bad, and the ugly, but always lean on one another and it can work!

me and my fiance dated in high school, broke up, and ended up reconnecting a few years later...weve been together 4 years since then and are engaged 💍 i think we both just needed to grow up a little, and figure out where we were each going in life before actually pursuing a relationship.
