I personally know a couple of women who have fallen pregnant on purpose without telling their partner. They have done it because they feel like they’re getting too old and didn’t want to wait, they did it to try stop their partners from leaving them, they did it because they wanted to leave their partners but wanted to give their first born child a brother or sister with the same parents or they did it because they hated their jobs and thought getting pregnant would mean they could be a stay at home mum.

My partner and I have very open and honest discussions about birth control and having kids. We talked about how frequently his actually happens and wanted some experience from other people around the world.
