What’s the reason for waiting?

My dr suggested I wait until my period come back to TTC again. I have my miscarriage at about 4 weeks. 
Can anyone tell me the reason she suggested I wait? 
Is it ok if I don’t wait since I miscarried so early?

The reason why is to let your body recover from the lost so it can go back to normal and also so its easier for them to estimate your due date. It is okay to start TTC as soon as you hcg are at 0. Everyones body is different some women conceive without even seeing a period and some women don’t. Also another reason the doctors say to wait a cycle or 2 is because they want you to be emotionally ready. If your think you’re ready go for it and try not to stress so much.

I’m sorry for your loss. My OBGYN told me to wait one cycle to ensure the uterine lining has built back up enough to support a healthy pregnancy. I was 7 weeks along. The majority of women here say you can try again right away but I chose to listen to my doctor to give myself the best chance for a successful, healthy pregnancy. I don’t want to set myself up for another miscarriage just because of my own impatience. My AF came just short of 5 weeks after my miscarriage and I’m supposed to ovulate in a week! you don’t have to wait it’s just recommended so they can tell your due date more accurately if you do fall pregnant again & having a period helps thicken your uterus lining which you need for a successful implant but my hubby & i are trying again. Had a Mc on 4/20. you’ll be okay, do what you’re comfortable with.

Id let your body heal love, i got preg in august mc in oct and waited for a cycle and gotpregnant again in jan Nd i lost the baby again march . So let your body heal ive gone through two cycles now so imma try again . Everyone is different but you wanna have to go through to mc back to back
