When to start solids

Can I start to give my baby food if he’s literally 3 days shy of being 4 months? He’s showing signs of readiness but I don’t want to start him too soon at all

4 month to soon. his stomach isn't capable of processing it. wait till closer to 6 months.

My daughter started on baby oatmeal and puréed foods at 4 months. We just started with a little bit once a day in the evenings. It was a great way to introduce different flavors, textures, and eating with a spoon. Just don’t try to substitute that for any milk meals yet.

In a 2 or 4 oz bottle you could actually add rice cereal, just a pinch though literally, one tiny pinch of the fingers

IT really depence. Everyday baby is different. Here in Holland we say as soon as the baby can sit by itself You can Give the baby Some fruit (blended) like banana OR other soft fruit

Most of the major health organizations recommend waiting until six months. There are many risks associated with starting before that. Some of these risks could be life long and not show up until later in their life. I wouldn’t risk it.
